First, Happy 4th of July. A day, as one people, we all rally around our American Flag that represents our Freedom.

Terry Sachetti wants to build a monument to All Americans.  Its centerpiece will be an American Flag, and it is to be the world’s largest.

Each stripe will be over 14 stories high; each star will be over 11.5 stories high. The Flag will be 3,552 feet long, that is over 2/3^rds of a mile long, and 1,869+ ft tall (186+ stories tall). It will be built on a man-made mountain on an angle about 45 degrees to give it a height of 90+ Stories. The inside of the mountain could easily house several Mall of Americas. It would take over 77,000 cars to cover the surface area of the flag. If you took the 1776 ft tall One World Trade Center, you could put two of them end to end in this great flag horizontally. This American flag will be huge and built in honor of All Americans. There are other monumentous structures that will be built such as the Soul of America, a five story, star shaped, gold glass building as a centerpiece. I am asking all flag loving Americans for your help. If you love this flag, please donate what you can. Please spread the word and the video, everywhere. It would be great to see our awesome flag ready for 2026 our country’s 250^th anniversary. Ambitious, maybe, but we are Americans and always up to a challenge. Who is Terry Sachetti & Why the Park of America?

In 1979, while in university, I was inspired by the great sense of unity Americans showed during the 444-day Iran Hostage Crisis. Yes, we had differences even back then, but we came together as one. What an exhilarating and powerful feeling to be a part of. The sense of a unified people was thick in the air. It is sort of like when you are in a large family where everyone is picking on someone and that seems ok until someone outside the family picks on that someone in your family. Bam, instant unity and watch out. In fact, that unity is always there, sort of an undercurrent, we just get distracted. This experience inspired me to create something that would remind us of our common ground, our love for our flag and what it stands for. It stands for you, and me, for each and every American from sea to shining sea.

I have worked on this project for over 41 years. Polishing it up, tweaking it time and time again and putting in whatever I could to get to the next step to make it a reality. It has been a labor of love for the country I love, and for someday, to give to all the people of America. This has nothing to do with politics. This has everything to do with you and I, we the American people, of which this country would never have been great without each and every one of us, past, present, and future. Each one of us is a cog in the great wheel of America, and that is why this country is great.

I graduated from Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan with a double major in Criminal Justice and Business. After that I moved to America in 1981 from Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Canada. I obtained my permanent resident card and felt blessed to be here in America. I have had a vast array of business experiences, and I am an inventor. Through my years of living in America, many of my friends asked why I had not become a citizen of the country I love so much. They knew how much I love this country by the way I spoke of it and all the red, white, and blue I was always seen wearing. My answer for many years was I was waiting for something. They would ask what? I would just give them a smile. Now I will give you the reason I have waited so long. My goal, my dream was, and is, to build Park of America. I did not feel deserving to become a citizen of this awesome country until I could give back to this country. And more so, to give back to the American people who were so gracious to give me the gift and opportunity to live in this great country. One more final note. I sincerely want to become an American citizen.  My dream is to be sworn in as an American at Park of America where the largest symbol of Freedom and Unity would live forever. I am one man with a vision. It will take many talented people to bring this to a reality. The time is now. We need this. We can do this. There is nothing more exciting than when Americans pull together and do something big. Big is what we are good at. Most of all we deserve this. One other note, Park of America will focus on hiring as many Veterans as possible.

Please, I am asking you to do what you can, to spread the word far and wide to all flag loving Americans. And finally, for all these years I have put everything I could into the development of this monument to us all.
